There are a number of mini cruises available throughout the year UK from British ports, ranging from 2 to 4 nights in duration.
Mini cruises are a great way to find out what cruising is like, if you or the person you would be travelling with is unsure if they would like it or not. The vast majority of people can’t wait to book their second cruise after trying one, but they are a few people who decide it isn’t for them. If you are unsure then it is better to book for 3 nights and get off wishing you had booked longer, than book for 14 nights and not enjoy it as much as you had hoped to.
A typical mini cruise from a port in the South of England would include one or more of the following ports: –
- Zeebrugge (for Bruges)
- Le Havre (for Paris)
- St Peter Port (Channel Islands)
- Cobh (for Cork)
Cruise Lines which generally offer at least one ex UK mini cruise each year include: –
- P&O Cruises
- Royal Caribbean International
- Celebrity Cruises
- Cruise & Maritime Voyages
- Fred Olsen Cruise Lines
- Princess Cruises
