Azamara Club Cruises has announced that both of its boutique hotel-style ships will be having renovations in the coming months.
Azamara Quest will enter dry dock at the Navantia Shipyard in Spain on 7th November 2012 for 8 nights.
Azamara Journey will enter dry dock at the Sembawang Shipyard in Singapore on 6th January 2013 for 7 nights.
Included in the renovations will be new carpets and upholstery, new mattresses and upgraded veranda furniture. The pool will be resurfaced, and new sun loungers will be added. The Spa and fitness centre will have a new steam room and showers, as well as Life Fitness cardio equipment. Aqualina, which is one of the two speciality dining restaurants, will feature a new caviar and champagne bar, and there will also be new Chef’s Table concept added. Other enhancements will be made to the staff and crew areas.
Guests cruising on Azamara Quest or Azamara Journey benefit from a number of things which are included in the price of the cruise, such as prepaid gratuities, complimentary bottled water, soda drinks, speciality coffees and teas, as well as complimentary red and white boutique wines served with lunch and dinner.
