Christmas 2012 could be spent on a relaxing cruise along the River Nile, on a Bales Dahabiyya. With just 6 cabins, each Dahabiyya carries a maximum of 12 passengers, at a much slower pace of life than the other boats on the Nile. When combined with 3 nights in Cairo, you get a fantastic holiday in Egypt.
Fly from Heathrow to Cairo on 19th December 2012, on a sheduled Egyptair flight, and transfer to the Mena Garden Oberoi Hotel for 3 nights on a B&B basis. While in Cairo you will be taken on excursions to The Pyramids, Sphinx and the Museum. Then on day 4 you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Luxor.
On arrival in Luxor you will transfer to your Bales Dahabiyya for your 7 night cruise along the Nile to Aswan, during which you will be taken on escorted tours to many of the major sites, including the Valley of the Kings, Temples of Luxor, Karnak and Philae, and the Colossi of Memnon. While onboard you will receive all your meals, as well as wine, beer and soft drinks. Then on day 11 you will fly from Aswan to Cairo, to get the scheduled flight back to Heathrow.
